We run three types of sessions our messy play, Role Play Village & Role Play Village active. All are child-led with a focus around learning through play.
Role Play Village;
Our bespoke mobile Role-Play Village is the first of its kind in Ireland and was created with little adventurers in mind, suitable for children from age 1 to 6 years. Each of the 10 destinations of our village represents a real world scenario with miniature tools and utensils to immerse themselves into that specific role. Our scenarios are those that your children will come across during their day to day lives and we’ve also included areas to promote and develop special interests and to inspire your little ones. These sessions generally run at the weekends and school holidays. We are also available for private bookings.
Role Play Village active;
Each week we have four destinations to visit from the Role Play Village, these are rotated so there is always something new to explore. In addition, we have a number of activity sessions which focus around open ended and heuristic resources.
Messy Play;
Messy play is sensory play, enabling children to work with their whole body, to create a controlled mess. This often involves the use of traditional ingredients such as sand, slime and water to use for the exploration of sensory feelings and imagination. The idea is to provide children with a variety of materials to explore textures and sensations, delving into a world of play and make believe. All of the materials used in our classes are provided, they are homemade and taste safe for children.
Our messy play sessions are suitable from 6 months - 5 years and are 1 hour long. Every week we have a new theme, which means new textures, toys and learning resources to explore. The room is set out with various individual stations, spaced out. There is no formal teaching, the sessions are child-led, which allows the children to decide where they want to play.
All our sessions at the Role Play Village are PAYG there is no commitment to sign up to a full term. We move our village around to different locations, please see our booking page for upcoming dates.
For Role Play Village active and messy play we release full terms first, for any remaining availability we release our play as you go option (PAYG), so you can pop along for a one-off session. We never send more than one message a week & only our team can post in the group.
